ARTS & CULTURE JAMAICA SCHOLARSHIP FUND

The Arts & Culture Jamaica Scholarship Fund offers financial support to talented young people in our community pursuing a career in the arts.

Up to Cdn $1,000

Ø  Fine Arts

Ø  Performing Arts, including Dance, Music & Drama

Ø  Design

Ø  Literature

Ø  Other Cultural forms

Ø  Students must be accepted into a full-time program in a Canadian College/University

Ø  This fund is available to Undergraduate and Graduate students

Academic year

Applicants must submit the following to Arts & Culture Jamaica, Inc. Scholarship Fund

Ø  An outline of the intended or current area of study

Ø  Three letters of reference from supervisors and/or department heads

Ø  Transcripts of academic record

Ø  A summary of achievements

Ø  A résumé

Ø  A portfolio (where applicable)

Ø  Indication of Jamaican heritage

Ø  A recent photograph

Ø  July 1 of each year

Ø  The Arts & Culture Jamaica, Inc. adjudicators will not accept applications after that date
